FOCUS
- Devotional for 06 JUNE 09
Grace and peace from God the Father and our Lord, Jesus Christ!

FOCUS is what helps us to be all that God has called us to be and do
what He's called us too! Each one of us has tasks to be accomplished
today! For me, that involves finishing a yearbook while being a
great mom! I don't want to do it in my strength! I know that if I
will keep my eyes on Jesus that I can do all things through Christ
Jesus (as phil. 4:13 says!) I think of the biblical story of Peter
walking on the water toward Jesus! As long as he kept his eyes
on Jesus, he was able to walk on the water! When he took his eyes
of Jesus, he started to sink! It's a great parable to show us that
we can rise above any storm and accomplish anything by keeping
our eyes on Jesus. Through Christ, we have been empowered for
VICTORY in every aspect of our lives! It's all about FOCUS!
I would encourage each of you today to keep your eyes on the
prize and run the race to win! (Phil 3:14) God has awesome plans
for each of our lives and wants us to think on GOOD things and
stay focused! What you are focused on will shape your feelings
and structure your perspective! FOCUS ON JESUS and have
an awesome, blessed, focused day!
