This morning I was thinking about some of the choices in people that
Jesus picked to be His disciples and do great things through! First,
there was Matthew, a tax collector that was probably the least
popularperson in town. Then there were fishermen (like Simon,
Andrew, Peter)that were probably did not smell so swell and were
not educated or inthe "in" crowd. Later, there was an adulteress
that He met at the well that brought the whole town out to see
Him! A small boy's gift was blessed and used to feed a huge
crowd! I was also thinking about some of God's choices that we
find in the bible....Mary....a young poor girl to be the mother of
Jesus, Moses...a slave to lead His people out of egypt, Joseph..a boy
hated by his brothers and thrown into prison to save a nation,
David....a smelly shepherd and least favorite brother to be a king
and mighty leader...and I could go on and on! The point of it all is
that each of us are HAND PICKED! You do not have to be the
most popular, the most talented, or the bestlooking! As long as
you are available and willing GOD WILL USE YOU TO DO IN-
CREDIBLE THINGS TO! That is His plan and purpose for Your life!
So, those desires in your heart to do great things were placed there
by an awesome Daddy God that loves to see you shine for His glory!
Be assured and confident that you are HAND PICKED!
