Strength Hope Courage & Confidence
Devotional for 30 MAR 09
Grace and peace from God the Father and our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Deut. 31:6- Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be
afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes
with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you. THE BATTLE
IS THE LORD's! (1 Sam. 17:47) Psalm 31:24 - Be of good courage,
and He shall strengthen your heart all you who hope in the Lord.
Psalm 91:10 - No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come
near your dwelling. Isaiah 41:10 - Fear not for I am with you;
be not dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you,
yes, I will help you. I will uphold you with My righteous right
hand. God IS our glory and STRENGTH! (Psalm 89:17) In a short
amount of time, Easter will be here. According to Colossians
1:27, Christ in us is THE HOPE of glory! Good Friday
represents the day that Christ died for all men so that we
might become RIGHTEOUS and set free from the law of sin
and death ! Isaiah 53:5 - He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement FOR OUR
PEACE was upon Him, And by His stripes WE ARE HEALED !
That IS FREEDOM from sickness, poverty, lack, sin, torment,
worry, fear, & oppression of any kind ! We are now GOD's
SIGNET ring to declare His glory and the FREEDOM found
in Christ to the nations. We are ministers of reconciliation (2
Corin. 5:18). Psalm 92:14 - ....they shall be fresh and flourishing
to declare that the Lord is up-right; He is my rock and there is
no unrighteousness in Him. Isaiah 42:6 - I the Lord, have called
you IN RIGHTEOUSNESS, & will HOLD YOUR HAND; I will
keep you and give you as a covenant to the people, as a LIGHT to
the gentiles.......to open blind eyes & bring prisoners out of
darkness ! Because, HE DIED and AROSE, we have been made
a LIGHT and given the gift of righteousness ! He who the Son
sets free is free indeed, so let's honor our Father, the Son, & Holy
Spirit today and everyday with hearts of gratitude and praise
and by allowing our lives to be acts of worship to glorify His
Holy name! Let's allow Him to flow through us EVERYDAY in
EVERY WAY ! Be strong and of good COURAGE! (Josh. 1:6,
Deut. 31:6) for the Lord will be YOUR CONFIDENCE! (Proverbs
3:26) Let's give GLORY TO THE ONE who we celebrate
with our lives ! Hebrews 10:35 - So do not throw away your
confidence, it will be richly rewarded! Phil. 4:13- I can do ALL
things through Christ who strengthens me!
